# Alpha Screener Overview

## What is the Alpha Screener?

The Alpha Screener is designed to save traders time by automatically scanning the market for high-probability Trading Alpha setups, eliminating the need to manually search through hundreds of charts.

Instead of spending hours looking for opportunities one chart at a time, the Alpha Screener does the work for you by scanning entire markets and returning assets that match the setup criteria you select.

The Screener currently supports:

* Cryptocurrency markets
* Stock markets
* Forex markets

Once a market and setup criteria are selected, the Alpha Screener will generate a list of assets that currently meet those conditions. This allows traders to quickly identify active opportunities and focus only on charts showing meaningful setups.

The Alpha Screener can scan for many of the most popular Trading Alpha signals, including setups from:

* Alpha Trend Suite
* HTF Suite
* LTF Suite
* Confirmation Suite

Additional screening options also include:

* Confirmed setups
* Momentum conditions
* Trend conditions
* Multiple setup combinations
* Advanced filtering options

By automating the scanning process, the Alpha Screener helps traders:

* Save significant analysis time
* Discover more market opportunities
* Increase market coverage and efficiency
* Avoid missing setups that may go unnoticed during manual scanning

Many traders miss valuable opportunities simply because manually scanning large numbers of charts is time-consuming and inefficient. The Alpha Screener was built specifically to streamline this process and help traders focus on the strongest available setups across multiple markets.

## Combining multiple setups for confirmation!

One of the most powerful and unique features of the Alpha Screener is the ability to scan for multiple setups simultaneously.

By combining different Trading Alpha signals into a single scan, traders can create setups with significantly more confluence and potentially higher probabilities of success. Rather than scanning for just one standalone signal, the Screener allows you to search for setups that already include confirmation from multiple indicators and systems.

For example, you can screen for combinations such as:

* An HTF Squeeze Breakout Arrow combined with a Bullish RSI Divergence
* A Reversal Bar followed by Green Micro Trend Dots
* A Bottom Signal followed by a Green Dot confirmation
* Multiple momentum and trend confirmations occurring together

This feature allows traders to focus specifically on setups where several independent signals are aligning at the same time — one of the core principles behind the Trading Alpha methodology.

It is important to understand that each additional setup selected acts as an additional filter within the Screener. As more filters are added, the scan becomes more selective and the number of matching results may decrease.

If too many conditions are selected simultaneously, the Screener may return very few or even zero results. If this happens, simply reduce the number of filters or confirmation conditions being used within the scan.

The goal is to find the right balance between:

* Strong confirmation and confluence
* A reasonable number of trade opportunities
* Market flexibility and efficiency

When used properly, combining multiple setups within the Alpha Screener can become an extremely effective way to identify higher-quality trading opportunities across multiple markets.

**Take note**: If you have no search results it could also mean you forgot to choose an asset class or time frame

## How to use the Alpha Screener

## Step 1.

Pick the market you wish to scan?

Pick from Crypto, Equities (Stocks), or Forex. This will scan that entire market for whatever setups you pick next!

## Step 2.

Now that you picked the market in which to scan, we need to know what time frame you want the screener to scan for? Choices vary for each market, but typically include a variation of Weekly, Daily, 6hr, 4hr, & 1hr timeframes. The screener will scan for setups on this chosen time frame.

## Step 3.

Finally you will want to pick the indicator setup(s) that you want to scan for? The screener will scan for all the indicators available to Trading Alpha.

Choose from :

```
- Green or Red Dots (New!) just starting!
- Green or Red bars starting from the Alpha Trend!
- Reversal signals or confirmed Reversals (New!) from the Alpha Trend!
- Topping signals or confirmed tops (New!) from the Alpha Trend!
- Bottom signals (New!) or confirmed Bottoms (New!)
- Squeezes that have started but yet to breakout!
- Squeeze breakouts that have just started! (HTF/LTF)
- High sensitivity squeezes & breakouts! (More results)
- RSI Bullish & Bearish Divergences! (From Wick RSI)
- Strength & Weakness arrow indicators! (Alpha Trend)
- Wick Thrust indications! (Institutional buying & selling)
- TD9 count system, both Bullish & Bearish signals
- Weekly High scans to find the strongest/weakest assets in the market!(New!)
```

## Step 4.

You can run the scan with just that one indicator setup that we chose in step 3, or you can find another indicator that pairs well for confluence. This could increase the probabilities of a great trade setup. There are many variations of good pairings . So mix and match to fit your style of trading. Just know that each extra indicator setup you choose, will add an extra filter to the scan, which will reduce results. Too many choices, or bad pairs could result in no matches at all.

## Step 5.

Once you are finished with your choices for the scan simply click the search button to generate results! The parameters box above the results will remind you what combination you just scanned for in cause you are doing multiple scans in a tow.

## Step 6.

If you click on the ticker results it will redirect you to the setup on your TradingView account for you to confirm. You will see your indicators showing the same setups on your chart that you were searching for with the screener. This is particularly good if you are jumping from multiple assets looking for the best setups. We have and continue to work hard and improving this screener. We are really proud of it and hope that it serves you well :)
